Dear KCS Families,

The application window for KCS magnet programs opened this morning, Monday, February 8th.  The application and additional details can be found on the KCS website.

As a reminder, Monday, February 15th, is an optional workday for school staff.  There is no school for students on Monday, February 15th.

For the week of February 1 through February 7, KCS had 8 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.  The guidance from CHA and DHHS has recommended 24 quarantines.

The Kannapolis City Board of Education will hold their regularly scheduled monthly meeting this evening.  The board will review a COVID-19 impact update and make decisions on the date and plan for when KCS may return to face-to-face instructions.  We will share updates shortly after the meeting.  Staying informed is #KCSEssential!!
