A.L. Brown cheerleaders earn national recognition

The A.L. Brown High School varsity cheerleading squad just stuck the landing for top 10 in the nation!

The Wonders’ co-ed cheerleading team competed in the Universal Cheerleaders Association national competition in Orlando, Florida. The Wonders cheer squad nailed their routine and finished 10th in the country. In December, the Wonders’ Cheerleaders won the North Carolina High School Athletic Association’s Cheerleading Championships and earned the right to compete in Florida.

It is the second year in a row that the Wonders’ cheerleaders have earned the right to appear in national competition.

 The A.L. Brown Coed Cheerleading squad is coached by Brittney Speights, James Busse, and Chelsea Herron.
