School Uniform Policy

Kannapolis City Schools School Uniform Policy
The Kannapolis City Board of Education follows a School Uniform Dress Code (Policy 4316). The policy helps clarify what clothes students may wear to school. The entire policy can be found at www.kcs.k12.nc.us. The uniform policy for lower grades allows a variety of uniform styles and colors at each school. For KCS elementary schools all shirts need to be collared, and no insignias will be allowed except for school logos. School Spirit wear is ok any day. The policy also requires pants, shorts, skirts, and skorts to be made of twill-like material (no jeans, jeggings or leggings are allowed). All elementary school students may wear any solid color shirt and black, navy blue or khaki bottoms.
