Kannapolis City Schools Elementary Schools

There are 6 elementary schools in Kannapolis City  offering a variety of programs: 

• Spanish Dual Language and Global Magnet Schools at Fred L. Wilson Elementary School and Jackson Park Elementary School.
• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program at North Kannapolis Elementary School.
• Fine Arts program at GW Carver Elementary School.
• CTE (Career and Technical Education) focus at Shady Brook Elementary School.
• Whole Child focus at Forest Park Elementary School.

Kannapolis City Schools also provides a PreK program at the McKnight Child Development Center.  Our PreK program utilizes the Creative Curriculum Framework to provide students with developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
