During this week students are free (with teacher permission) to come to the Media Center to return books and/or check out books as Mrs. Griffin, our media/tech facilitator, will not being having scheduled media classes. Our media center operates on a partial flexible schedule which means students will receive media instruction and book checkout in a scheduled class every other week. Guidelines For Student Checkout

  • Kindergarten Students: Kindergarten students will be having "orientation to the Media Center" sessions during media class. In these orientation sessions students are learning about how to take care of books, how to find books in our media center, how to check out their books, and other Media Center procedures. Kindergarten students may check out 1 book at a time.

1st-5th Graders: First, second, third, fourth, and fifth grade students begin the year with a review of library procedures, how to care for library resources, and how to checkout and return their materials during media class. First Grade students may check out 1 book at a time. Second and Third Grade students may check out two books, and Fourth and Fifth Grade students may checkout 3 books.

Parents, please help your children return their library books! We are teaching them to keep their library book in their bookbag so that when they return to school each day they can exchange their book during media class. Thanks for your help!
