Lauren Dobbin began her teaching career in Kannapolis City Schools in 2012 at Fred L. Wilson Elementary where she taught 2nd grade and then later 3rd grade.  Mrs. Dobbin served as the Assistant Principal at Jackson Park Elementary School before being promoted to Principal of North Kannapolis Elementary School.

Originally from Lenoir, North Carolina, Mrs. Dobbin attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  She went on to earn her Masters in School Administration from East Carolina University.  Mrs. Dobbin holds a NC K - 6 teaching license and a K - 12 School Administration license.

Garrett Cooperman started teaching in his home state of New York after completing his degree in education, and continued teaching 9-12 in Charlotte, NC before joining the Wonders at A. L. Brown as Assistant Principal in 2018. He is proud to keep wearing green and white with the Eagles at North Kannapolis, and a firm believer that education is about helping students grow through fun and learning into the best possible versions of themselves.
