    Thank you for submitting your pre-application!  This pre-application is Step 1 in our application process.  Within 7 business days, a Family Advocate from Kanapolis City Schools Preschool Programs/McKnight CDC will be contacting you to assist you in finishing the application process.

     

Application Requirements

  • The following information will be needed before completing the Head Start / NC Pre-K application:

    • Birth Certificate
    • Child’s Immunization Record / Current Physical Exam / Current Dental Record
    • Medicaid and/or Private Insurance Card
    • Proof of Residence in the Kannapolis City School District (current utility bill in parent’s name, rent receipt, etc….)
    • Proof of Family Income (W-2 form, Income Tax Return, Child Support Letter,  SSI, SNAP Award Letter, etc…)
