School Performance & Accountability

The Testing and Accountability Department ensures that parents, students, educators, and other stakeholders are provided with accurate, quality, and timely data, as well as information at all academic levels regarding Kannapolis County Schools. Now more than ever, school districts are being held accountable for their level of services they provide to their students. By delivering data and information about our school district, KCS ensures that all parties with an interest in our students' education have the research and measurement tools necessary for analysis and assessment of progress.

Accountability Services is responsible for three key components of KCS' ongoing educational efforts:

• Performance evaluation as required by state and federal laws.
• Flexibility to adapt and change to new requirements.
• Delivery of information to the general public and elected officials.
