Kannapolis City Schools’ student, Kyla Allie, has been selected to have her artwork exhibited at the North Carolina General Assembly building in Raleigh. Kyla is a third grader at Jackson Park Elementary School.

 

Kyla’s winning artwork is entitled “Degas Dancers.” Kyla’s art teacher, Georgann Sapp, nominated Kyla for the honor of having her artwork displayed at the General Assembly in Raleigh.

The North Carolina Art Education Association honored Kyla for her accomplishment during a special reception at the General Assembly building on March 28th. Kyla’s artwork will be part of a Youth Art Exhibit that will remain on display at the General Assembly building through February of 2018.
