The Kannapolis Education Foundation (KEF) has donated $20,000 to Kannapolis City Schools to buy educational resources for KCS classrooms. KEF Board member, Doug Vernon of the NC Research Campus, presented the check to Superintendent, Dr. Chip Buckwell, and the Director of Secondary Education, Daryle Adams.

The KEF contribution will provide additional resources for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) instruction in KCS classrooms.

Since the KEF was founded, it has donated more than $700,000 to the students and teachers of Kannapolis City Schools. That money has supplied technology, books, advanced science equipment, and other classroom resources to Kannapolis City Schools.

KCS is extremely grateful to the Kannapolis Education Foundation for its continuing support. We also thank the many community members who donate to the Kannapolis Education Foundation. Their generous support gives KCS students additional resources and helps prepare them for lifelong success.
