Kannapolis City Schools is expanding its free summer lunch program. KCS will offer three sites this summer where children can get a free meal each Monday through Thursday. During 2015, KCS offered only one summer lunch location.  

 

The three summer lunch sites for 2016 are located throughout the community and will provide a free meal to anyone 18 years of age or younger (even children that do not attend Kannapolis City Schools). Adults 19 and older will be able to purchase meals. 

 

The three summer feeding sites are Kannapolis Intermediate School, Forest Park Elementary School, and the Kannapolis branch of the YMCA. When:  
Monday, June 20 through Thursday, August 4th
(Mondays-Thursdays)

Where:  
Kannapolis Intermediate School Cafeteria
(525 East “C” Street)

Forest Park Elementary School Cafeteria
(1333 Forest Park Drive)

Cannon Memorial YMCA
(101 YMCA Drive)

Who:  
Free to anyone 18 years of age or younger

Adult Meals (Age 19 and older): Available for sale  
*Do not have to live in Kannapolis or attend KCS to be eligible.

Time:  
Lunch will be served 11:30 am- 1:00 pm Mondays-Thursday
(Fridays-Closed)
